Health and Beyond Foundation partnered with Lupin Human Welfare Research Foundation (LHWRF) to undertake a Gap Assessment Study on Health Service Delivery of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) under the Umbrella of National Programme for Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular disorders and Stroke (NPCDCS) in the selected blocks & districts of Maharashtra and Rajasthan
Objective
Map the services, identify gaps and challenges with service delivery at various levels
Estimate real time average unit cost of the gaps in the services
Propose solutions to address the gaps in the services from service provider’s perspective.
Coverage
Maharashtra – Pune & Palghar Districts
Rajasthan – Alwar district
Achievements
Maharashtra – 125 Interviews, 4 FGDs and 33 health facilities visited
Rajasthan – 55 interviews,3 FGDs and 15 health facilities visited.
Separate reports shared with LHWRF and presented to the local governments in both states.
